Hawaii Grand Resort

What do you think of this hotel. If you stay in it which was the party the best and worst about this. I hear Hawaii pools are cold even in summer months. Is this true for the Grand Wailea? How are the rooms and surrounding area. The food is good?

The Grand Wailea is a beautiful residence with swimming pool killer if you want to be in a pool with a thousand people. Lots of fun, but busy. The swim up bar is great .. But again .. Overcrowded.
Humuhumunukunukuapuaa restaurant is outstanding with a magnificent sunset view and a lagoon that surrounds .. A floating restaurant. High up in the price if you are looking for an affordable price .. Don''t count on it.

This is a 5 stars for a reason ..

It is beyond my budget, but a co-worker stayed there a year ago and said it was great. I have no details, though.

My wife and I stayed for a week in early October after the school started to prevent children - it worked. We enjoyed the pool and lazy river. They are not cold. We are in the Phoenix area and would have noticed. We enjoyed the beach towards the many nearby hotels. Great Food. Will go back after we save some $ $ $.
